RFP FOR CREATION OF THE ICA 50TH ANNIVERSARY ART FORM

Background:
​Institute of Cultural Affairs is preparing to celebrate its Fiftieth Anniversary in 2012. While a major public event will occur in Chicago on June 22nd, 2012, preparations are also underway for 50 anniversary events to occur around the country, and perhaps the world. These will occur over several months commencing in September 2011 and will continue throughout 2012. All of these 50 events will consist of gatherings, some large and some small, with a focus on group discussions about the next 50 years.

Concept:
Strips of cloth of diverse colors and patterns measuring approximately 4”x12” will be made available at each of the 50 events.
