ONE EARTH FILM FESTIVAL 2015

Join us on Saturday, March 7th for special One Earth Film Festival screenings of documentary films about people claiming and reclaiming local food production.

No Land, No Food, No Life, at 11 am, explores sustainable small scale agriculture around the world and the urgent call for an end to corporate global land grabs.  Edible City, at 3 pm, introduces a diverse cast of extraordinary characters in the Bay Area who are challenging the paradigm of our broken food system.  Both films are official selections of the Fourth Annual One Earth Film Festival.
Join us after each of the screenings for solution-oriented discussions; tours of a solar-powered, food-producing, community-focused landmark building; and micro-workshops on urban gardening.
No Land, No Food, No LifeNo Land No Food No Life is a hard-hitting film which explores sustainable small scale agriculture and the urgent call for an end to corporate global land grabs. This feature length documentary gives voice to those directly affected by combining personal stories, and vérité footage of communities fighting to retain control of their land.
Saturday, March 7 @11AM  (75 min.); followed by optional panel discussion and tour concluding around 2:00 PM
This is an International Women’s Day event.

Edible CityEdible City is a documentary film that introduces a diverse cast of extraordinary characters who are challenging the paradigm of our broken food system. The film digs deep into their unique perspectives and transformative work, finding inspirational, grass-roots solutions based on growing local food systems and economies.
