The ICA Archives Project is making major progress in sorting the files and is planning to capitalize on that progress by holding two Sojourner Programs, with the first starting on April 30.
The "Sharing Approaches That Work" Conference that will cap ICA-USA's 50th Anniversary Celebration has been moved to September 15th, 2012. The location will still be at ICA-USA's home at 4750 N Sheridan Rd in Chicago. The date was changed in November to give colleagues and staff time to prepare for the event and to allow for the research into Chicago's sustainable development projects. Stay tuned to the website for the exact date!
Two more events have been added to the event page for the 50 Events for 50 Years celebration.
Institute of Cultural Affairs-USA (ICA-USA) is celebrating 50 years in community development in 2012. One of the first key events will be in Sacramento, California in early January and the Technology of Participation (ToP) Network would like to extend the invitation for you to attend.
The ToP Network conference will be held January 6th through 9th in Old Sacramento and will be followed with various courses in image shift, appreciative inquiry and virtual facilitation from January 9 through 12. The conference itself will be addressing participation issues in our time as well as ways to strengthen our nation training system that transfers our facilitation methods. You will find more about conference offerings at the registration website www.top-network.org. We hope to see you at the conference and celebration banquet. |
