CROWDFUNDING: HELPING ICA SUCCEED WITH YOUR SUPPORT

This year ICA has a new approach to fundraising. We have worked hard on creating programs that are self-sustaining; however most of our programs are still relatively young, and have a few years until they will be able to run without external support. In the mean time, the ICA's programming staff is taking charge of making sure each program is financially viable.

INTERNS CONTINUE TO CONTRIBUTE TO ICA'S GROWTH

Two interns from Oberlin College worked with ICA's Accelerate 77 team and ICA fellow Jenny Hirsch during their January winter term. They were engaged in projects that supported Jenny's work with the Chicago Community Climate Action Toolkit, as well as broadening ICA's knowledge on communities in green buildings.  Peter Nguyen is a freshman from Chicago and Yuran Pan is a sophomore from China.

SPRING SOJOURN IN APRIL

The Archives team invites all colleagues to the Global Archives Spring Sojourn April 8 through May 3. Suggestions for collections to study include: Imaginal Education, Profound Humanness, Local Church Experiment, Curriculum, Spirit Methods, Human Development, Odyssey, and Participatory Methods. So far nearly two dozen colleagues will be attending. In addition, there are people who plan to work remotely from home. The ToP Network is pleased to honor the National Association of County and City Health Officials as a 2013 "ToP Champion.”  NACCHO was chosen for this recognition for the results they have demonstrated through ongoing leadership in developing effective facilitators within their organization, as well as, nurturing a culture of participation with their 2,800 local public health department associate members and strategic partners across the country.
