ICA is proud to announce the launch ofSustainable September, amonth of activities to raise awareness of global climate change issues.
Sustainable September will culminate by celebrating the diversity of the Uptown neighborhood and the installation of 483 solar panels on the roof of ICA GreenRise with an:
Inspired by non-violence principles employed by Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi, on March 1, 2014, climate patriots set out from Los Angeles, CA, on a 3,000 mile trek to Washington DC. The marchers will arrive in Chicago on September 6th and the ICA will host them at the ICA GreenRise for three nights.
ICA is hosting a celebratory potluck to welcome the marchers.
