A Vibrant Legacy for the Future

At this time in history

Serious challenges lead some experts to question whether the human enterprise on this planet has a future. Many caution that the time is urgent - the next few years can make all the difference. Can enough of the world’s people find the inspiration and the practical tools they need, to participate in creating what is needed to care for the earth and for every person?

What does ICA-USA need to do to support and serve emerging change networks?

In a time of interest in ecology yet mounting use of energy; yearning for common wisdom yet inadequate labels of Blue and Red; efforts to build communities yet we're still Bowling Alone; hope for the new millennium yet dissatisfaction with current affairs; racism, sexism, ageism, homophobia still alive and ugly; talking heads, blogs, and instant messages yet not much meaningful communication:
What are the focused conversations that America most needs to have?

What does ICA-USA need to do and be as part of the global family of national ICAs?

In a time of War on Terror; War in Iraq; accelerated immigration; HIV-Aids epidemic here and everywhere; shifting labor forces; multi-cultural neighborhoods; diversity in schools and workplaces; new technologies that span geography into virtual communities:
What are the new American dialogues that ICA-USA with its globally connected values is best qualified to lead?

What does ICA-USA need to do to preserve and share the 40 plus years of wisdom in the Global Archives and embedded in each pioneering spirit?

In a time of rising fundamentalism; twenty years since the Order:Ecumenical dispersed; a variety of activities like the interest in the archives, Earthrise Reflections, and Repository; participation in local churches;  participation in anything BUT local churches; permeation into businesses and organizations across the country; new books about Joe Mathews:
What are the spirit conversations you most want to have now with the broader ICA community?

Come be part of the Conversation at the
